An introduction (this probably shouldve been the first post but oh well)

This blog originated, like most of the other things I do, out of sheer boredom.  Ive been unemployed for a little while now and while continuing the job search I really needed something to take up my time, and I thought that a blog where i could retell stories that have happened to me over the past couple years, as well as updates of my recent move from NY to CA could do just that.  I'm making an effort to retell my stories in a way that doesn't simply sound like the ramblings of an oral story turned written, that is, I've tried to make them more legitimate, almost "novel like".  The day to day stories will remain in a more informal, realistic tone.  With any luck people will enjoy reading as much as I enjoy telling.
